Exercise Period
ESOPs are not exactly stocks. As the name suggests, these are 'options' to own your vested stocks. In simple terms, unless you exercise your ESOPs, you don't really own any stocks in the company. Exercising (or buying) ESOPs could be expensive, hence most employees exercise it at the same time they sell. However, if you leave the company - you might want to check about how long are you eligible to exercise your vested stocks. More about it here.
